C. Victor Combe II – General Partner/Founder

Mr. Combe began his career in sales and management positions in materials science companies. His career subsequently moved into management consulting performing productivity installations, acquisition integrations, and retained executive search for a client base comprised of precious metal refiners and fabricators as well as specialty material precision engineering endeavors.

A founder of Manning Advisors, Mr. Combe concentrates on value creation strategies through substantial subject matter expertise and the assembly of superior leadership teams.

Mr. Combe has an engineering background with graduate studies in finance, marketing and organization/management development.

He is also the founder of a global retained executive search organization. This organization has enjoyed remarkable success in driving the growth of organizations in the precious metals industry through delivery of exceptional senior executives.

 

Richard W. Sager – Managing Director, Manning Advisors, LLC.

Mr. Sager brings unique M/A knowledge and experience across a broad spectrum of high technology product and service industries to Manning. Richard’s advanced materials knowledge and applications orientation includes precious metals refining services and fabrication opportunities, specialty chemicals, precision optics and advanced coating technologies.

Formerly President of Williams Advanced Materials and the Materion AMTS business unit, he and his team built the organization from $28 million to over $1 billion in annual revenue during his 26-year tenure.

Executing to a series of long term strategic plans, Richard led M/A activities that comprised a total of 12 strategic acquisitions and 7 greenfields, creating a global advanced materials business focused on high value applications and technology. Richard’s M/A experience from both buyers’ and sellers’ sides, strategic planning expertise, skill in identifying targets, valuation insight, and proficiency in directing post close activities will deliver significant value to Manning’s client base.
